Jupiter Desktop Globe Model
-
DetailMeet the massive gas giant Jupiter with this stunning globe. This globe was developed by the staff of Astronomy Magazine and by Björn Jónsson, an Icelandic software developer and experts in editing image data of spacecraft, and made with data from the Cassini and Juno spacecraft. The globe identifies 18 features, including the Great Red Spot, the Oval BA and the various bands of fast-moving clouds running parallel to the equator. The globe is made of durable plastic with just one seam between the hemispheres and comes with a clear acrylic base. There is also a small accompanying booklet in English.

I like the color scheme, but the smooth surface sometimes makes it tricky to spin precisely. Nice design overall.

Material feels solid, yet I found the globe a tad smaller than expected. The detailed labels are helpful.
